An interesting new business just launched out of Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. West Coast Firepits is owned and operated by professional welder, Michael Slaco, who's looking to put a little more flair into private backyard firepits. To do so he's managed to blend traditional forging, metalworking and... er... Star Wars to come up with this incredible piece of metal shown below. Each one of these 36" spherical units is made by hand along with precision machine cutting.
