Welcome to my new weekly style column on Vancouver is Awesome! As the editor of VITA magazine and Vitadaily.ca, I'm constantly (happily) exposed to all things fashion and beauty in Vancouver. I grew up in this gorgeous city and, despite the bad fashion rap it's given from time to time, happen to know for a fact that we do NOT wear leggings 24-7!
To prove it, each Friday I will provide a roundup that will range from denim guides to shoe roundups to mascara must-haves, featuring products you can find at local retailers (no ’net required, though you can certainly go that route if you wish). Oh, and I reserve the right to include a pair of yoga pants here and there, because, well, they are a part of our West Coast repertoire (and there's no reason they can't be stylish, too).
