Whistler wakes up to first snowfall of the season (PHOTOS)

Whistler woke up this Friday morning to their first snowfall of the season.

Snooooooow!

Whistler woke up this Friday morning to the first snowfall of the season, leaving many feeling like a kid on Christmas morning.

It's a bit early for this kind of dusting (and it's not going to stick around) but locals are pretty thrilled to see the cold white stuff. Whistler Blackcomb has already set their opening day for November 23, so it's hard to say if this morning's snowfall means they'll be rolling that back to any earlier.

If you're headed up the mountain by car, remember that chains/snow tires are required October through to the end of March on the Sea To Sky Highway.
