There's an easy opportunity to help fund food access in Vancouver happening this week, and all you have to do is have dinner on October 18, 2017 at one of these three local restaurants.

Burdock & Co., Farmer's Apprentice, and Jamjar on the Drive are participating in the Canada-wide dine-out fundraising event Restaurants For Change.

Now in its fourth year, the annual fundraiser has nearly 100 restaurants in 19 Canadian cities who will donate proceeds from their dinner service to support community food access programs.

Funds raised in Vancouver help Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC) support more than 100 Good Food Organizations across Canada with an annual conference, grants, training, program resources, and other capacity-building tools.

Since its launch, the Restaurants for Change event has raised over $600,000 nationwide that has gone to support community food programs and Canada's good food movement.

To take part, simply book a reservation using your preferred method at one of the three participating Vancouver restaurants, and have a terrific dinner on Wednesday, October 18.
