Over 100 Christmas trees will sparkle as part of Dundarave's Festival of Lights

Take a stroll in a "Forest of Miracles," amidst over 100 Christmas trees on display as part of the annual Dundarave Festival of Lights in West Vancouver.

This December, take a stroll in a real "Forest of Miracles," amidst over 100 lit and decorated trees on display as part of the annual Dundarave Festival of Lights in West Vancouver.

It's the largest outdoor display of Christmas trees in coastal B.C., and just one of the ways the family-friendly festival engages the community during the holiday season.

Each tree in the Forest of Miracles is adopted by donation by a business, organization, or family in the community, then is lit and decorated, and displayed for everyone to enjoy as part of the Festival.

Since 2008, the Forest has raised over $300,000 for the Lookout Society's North Shore Shelter.

The annual Dundarave Festival of Lights kicks off with a Christmas tree decorating beach party on November 26. The official lighting of the Festival’s Christmas tree forest takes place at dusk. The Christmas trees in the Forest of Miracles will remain on display until December 31, 2017.

On the four Saturdays leading up to Christmas, stop by for an afternoon of free concerts to spark your Christmas spirit. The Dundarave Christmas Fair takes place on December 2, the Dundarave Nativity & Paddle Songs on the 9th, World Christmas on the 16th, and the spectacular Christmas Wassail & Bonfire Night on the 23rd.
