Facebook's first foray into scripted television content will be a multi-genre series called "Sacred Lies," and the series is set to begin filming in Vancouver this March.
10 episodes of the half-hour show have been ordered, according to Deadline.

"Sacred Lies" is about "a handless teen who escapes from a cult and finds herself in juvenile detention, suspected of knowing who killed her cult leader." The story is based on both the Grimm Brothers' tale "The Handless Maiden" and the novel "The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly" by Stephanie Oakes.
According to Creative BC's In Production roster, "Sacred Lies" will film in Vancouver from March 15 to May 25, 2018. Casting for the show is currently underway.
Facebook launched their video on demand service, called Facebook Watch, in August 2017. At the time, Facebook told Media in Canada there was no news regarding a Canadian rollout for the service, which means unless something changes before "Sacred Lies" starts streaming, we won't be able to see it where it's filmed.
