Only one Metro Vancouver city made the cut for 7-Eleven’s new home-delivery service

Richmond has been chosen as one of three Canadian cities for the launch of 7-Eleven’s new home-delivery service.

The popular convenience store chain selected Richmond, along with Calgary and Edmonton, to roll out the new service via an app called Nomme.

And, for a limited time, delivery of the likes of pizza, chicken wings and slurpees in those areas is free – just in time for Super Bowl Sunday.

It’s not yet clear why Richmond was chosen specifically as one of the three sites for the initial roll-out.
