The City of Vancouver has opened three temporary warming centres in response to this week's below freezing temperatures, which are expected to drop as low as -5°C. Over the last nine winters, the City of Vancouver and BC Housing have partnered to open temporary shelters so people experiencing homelessness can find the support they need.
