This Vancouver curling club is at the heart of an Olympics TV commercial (VIDEO)

Even the commercial breaks during the Winter Olympics coverage bring out our Canadian pride. One ad stars a Vancouver curling club that's been around for nearly 60 years.

Much of Canada has been watching CBC this month and enjoying all the ups and downs courtesy Team Canada at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics. But the commercial breaks can also stir up more feelings of Canadian pride, thanks to some Olympics-themed ads that tug at heart strings.

One such ad is from Canadian Tire, featuring a group of kids curling their young hearts out with intensity and passion. The rink is dimly lit, and looks like it's been a part of the community forever, giving the ad a sort of timeless feel. That's because the rink in real life has been a part of one Vancouver community for nearly 60 years.

 Marpole Curling Club/Facebook

The Canadian Tire commercial was filmed at Vancouver's Marpole Curling Club. The facility was built in 1959, and "and still holds the same inviting atmosphere that it did back then," boasts their website.

Obviously there is some dramatic lighting at work in the TV spot; the Marpole Curling Club says they keep their facility and its six sheets of ice, meeting rooms, and cafe up to date, while preserving its vintage vibes.

We reached out to the Marpole Curling Club to find out how it feels to see their space starring in a commercial aired during the Olympics, but they haven't responded yet. We'll add in an update if we do hear back from them.

The video has almost a million views on YouTube, and of course millions more on live TV. Check it out, and get ready to feel the feels.
