You can get a Pickle Slush just a few minutes outside Vancouver this summer

Nothing says refreshing summery drinks like a slushie. So how about one that's pickle-flavoured?

This June, U.S. fast food chain Sonic Drive-In will debut a pickle juice snow cone slush. if that tempts any Vancouverite to cross the border, the nearest Sonic location is about 15 miles south of Peace Arch/Blaine in Ferndale, Washington.

The beverage is a bright green sweet and icy slush drink made with a pickle syrup. Food & Wine magazine previewed the concoction recently at the chain's Oklahoma City HQ, calling it "surprisingly delicious." Suggested pairings: Burgers, tots, corn dogs.

As it turns out, once the Pickle Slush hits the menu, you can actually request the syrup as an add-on to anything else on the menu. A pickle vanilla shake, or a pickle syrup drizzle in your Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito, are all possible. Dream big!

While the nearest Sonic is at 1851 Main Street in Ferndale, there are a ton of them down the I-5 corridor through Washington state, so you can make your road trip eats a little extra this summer for sure.
