This week's Public Salon speaker is Streetfront teacher, Trevor Stokes.
Streetfront is a Vancouver-based alternative high school program that approaches education with an emphasis on physical activities and outdoor experiences. Stokes has taken his students on a variety of adventures, including a hike up Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Yesterday, Streetfront student Eero Gaffney competed in the prestigious Boston Marathon with a time of 3:00:33. Congratulations to Eero, Trevor and everyone on the Streetfront team!
