The six-million dollar Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Gardens are now open as a haven for those lost in the fast-paced heartbeat of the city's summer activities.

The garden, the first full-scale Suzhou-style classical garden built outside China, is a placid and beautiful natural and architectural environment where visitors can leave the worries of the city behind.

Stone walkways and bridges, a lake and fountain, courtyards and pavilions are the make-up of the garden's authentic design, which dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

The Gardens are open daily from 10 a.m.
