I spent Sunday down at the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Garden in Chinatown for the Harvest Moon Festival. It’s been a few months since I’ve been there and if you haven’t been, I highly recommend it. Very tranquil, peaceful, calm… a nice respite in the heart of the city.

Needless to say when I saw this photo from rommy ghaly featuring an awesome photo from Chinatown, I had to feature it.

Love this awesome photo found in today’s Daily Flickr Pickr pool. An amazing capture featuring a new perspective on the usual long exposure photos taken from ABOVE the Stanley Park causeway. This one was taken from underneath the overpass at the entrance to the Lions Gate Bridge and it turned out just awesome.

I love the city’s Neon Sign resurgence. I think Neon is a very cool method for signage, especially the large outdoor building signs that have made a comeback along Granville Street in Downtown. Very cool. Very awesome.
