Oh my goodness, what a week it’s been! I’ve been slightly out of commission for a few days due to a slowly failing hard drive and the lack of time to replace it, install the OS, load programs, etc, etc, etc…Whew! I think I’ve finally got it nailed down though and I’m back in action…fingers crossed. ;)
Anyway, there’s been some good action in the Daily Flickr Pickr pool over thereon Flickr I see, and perusing through the Pool, I found this awesome one that just SCREAMS how awesome Vancouver (and it’s awesome people) really are.

Took a day off yesterday, ’cause, well, I wanted to, so there!
Back at it today though, listening to the theunder and trying desperately to capture some cool lightning images. Tough to do and my hats off to all the peeps who can pull off good quality lightning shots. Look forward to seeing them in the Daily Flickr Pickr Pool.
the choice for today’s selection is equally as cool, if not cooler, as it’s one of the best long exposure photos I’ve ever come across. VERY well done.

How many of you ventured down to English Bay this past Saturday to take in the spectacular spectacle that was Vietnam’s contribution to this years Celebration Of Light, Vancouver’s awesome annual Fireworks competition? Me? Ummm, no. Unfortunately I am neck deep in a multimedia production project and couldn’t drag myself away from the computer…sucks to be me. ;)
But anyway, I heard it was quite a show, and judging by all the wicked photos in the ole Flickr Pool, I kinda missed the boat.
