Canada’s premier online eyeglass and contact lens dispensary Clearly Contacts (aka Coastal.com elsewhere) celebrated its very first brick and mortar store by rolling out the blue carpet for a grand opening party.

Fashionistas like Alexandra Grant and Jen Tam (above) tried on all kinds of eye and sunglasses of every style over some bubbly.

If you’re not familiar with world traveller Patricia Schultz, she’s the New York Times best-selling author of 1000 Places to See Before You Die. Naturally, she’s teamed up with Trafalgar Canada guided tours to promote her work and the greater idea of international travel.

We gathered for a special lunch to discuss wanderlust over some gourmet food. I had the Aberta beef tenderloin cooked medium rare on a roasted potato cake in red wine jus. It was soft, moist, and utterly scrumptious.

From Skout Agency along with many local and international fashion brands on board, comes a collaborative fashion showroom and wholesale distribution centre. This warehouse off Parker Street is looking to appeal directly to the Vancouver market and its boutiques.

The project has culminated in the Parker Building deep in the heart of East Vancouver, teaming up with Brunette Showroom, Dakota Group, Brock Agency, YBrands, and others.
