|If you were to create a Venn diagram where one circle was labeled “cheap” and the other labeled “awesome”, the middle point where they cross over could be labeled “Vancouver on the Cheap”. In other words, this is a weekly series on things to do and places to go in Vancouver that fall into that magical category of being both cheap and awesome.

Let’s be honest: Vancouver is crawling with sushi spots. Almost everywhere you turn there’s another one beckoning you to come in and enjoy the seaweed-rolled rice, veggies, and fish. It’s easy, compact, and delicious. What more could you want? Oh right, cheap. Here’s another great cheap sushi option in the city: Sushi Dragon. They’ve got a couple of great specials, including a veg option! Two rolls and soup for $5.95 or $6.95, depending on whether you’re including sea creatures in your meal.
