This morning I was swimming in the deep end of the Pool when I came across this shot by notarobot73. It’s a nice graphic image that stood out from the crowd and now it is the Flickr Pickr photo of the day.

One of the things that I admire in people is when they can take hardship and deal with it with humour and/or creativity. Our photo today illustrates this perfectly. It’s not so much “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” as it is “when life gives you lemons, turn them into an abstract comic. About lemons.”

With the RBC Gran Fondo Whistler going on yesterday, I was looking froward to seeing some great shots in the pool and when I saw this one, I thought to myself “I’ve got my shot for the day”.
But then I kept looking, and found this one and it was obviously our shot of the day. Both of them are taken by the talented Tom Wiebe and is called “All a blur”.
I bet all the riders are glad that the race ran yesterday and not today. Enjoy your rainy Sunday!

It’s from Long Pig and he found it on “4th between the Drive and Woodland, beside a little bamboo forest.” This is the first time I’ve seen a chimney tree, thanks for sharing Mr. Pig.
