Want to up your wine game and drink better vino? Then you’ll want to hear all about this new Vancouver-based wine club!
Just launched this January, Wine Vikings is a subscription-based wine club intended to expand members’ vino repertoire by delivering great local and global wines right to their door, introducing them to new producers, varieties, and pairings every season.
Each quarter, members will receive a subscription box with six hand-picked bottles of wine, ranging from local concoctions to hard-to-find bottles.

These seasonal collections are curated by a local Wine Viking — with a lineup consisting of sommeliers, chefs, and restaurateurs from Vancouver’s restaurant scene.
For Spring 2021, Chambar Wine Director Kelcie Jones has selected the picks for the inaugural Wine Viking box, which features an Italian reds trio (including Aglianico, Barbera, and a Bordeaux), a Semillon from the Okanagan Valley, a French Chablis Chardonnay, and a Petite Arvine hailing from the Valle d’Aosta.
This year’s picks will include selections from Bar Corso’s Michelle Kanis, Downlow Chicken Shack’s Doug Stephen, and Ask For Luigi’s Alessandro Vianello.
