Remember back in 2012 when a local artist decided to install a phony sign that said "DUDE CHILLING PARK" at Guelph Park in East Van? And remember when it got taken down, and then Google actually MADE THE NAME SOMEWHAT OFFICIAL on their online maps? Well, good news just came out of the Vancouver Park Board: the sign is back, and it's been designated as a piece of semi-permanent public art! This is the next best thing to the park actually being renamed, and I hope you'll agree that it's awesome.
HERE is the tweet they sent out announcing it.
