Put on your stretchy pants and prime your tastebuds: The largest Indian buffet restaurant in North America has opened its doors and it is in Metro Vancouver.
Located on Scott Road in North Delta, Tandoori Flame boasts seating for 450 in an 11,000-square-foot multi-room layout, and a dazzling assortment of foods on offer, from traditional dishes to street food made to order.
Tandoori Flame is a family-run restaurant group owned by the Gulati family - Gajendra, Prabhjot, Shraey and Aman Gulati. The restaurant got its start with two locations in the Toronto area, and are now excited to show off what they've got here in B.C.
Their "Grand Indian Buffet" is loaded with 150 items, from snacks and appies (think pakoras and samosas, for example) to tandoori meats, vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries and staples (palak paneer, kebabs, biryani, and Butter Chicken, of course!) along with tandoori pizza, fruit, pastries, Indian desserts, and much more.
Tandoori Flame is in their "soft opening" phase as of June 1, and will offer lunch and dinner service, priced per person (with discounts for kids, toddlers, and seniors, too).
Check out a few more images they've shared of this impressive new space.
Tandoori Flame is located at 11970 88 Avenue in North Delta. Hours are daily from 11:30 am to 10:30 pm PST and until 11 pm on Friday & Saturday.
