Hold onto your cardboard sleeves, because Starbucks is about to unveil a swanky new Reserve store in downtown, and it's going to be the biggest Starbucks location in Vancouver.
Situated at Pacific Centre at 700 West Pender, the newest 'bux on the block is a 4,000-square-foot store featuring the coffee chain's Reserve Bar stylings and offerings. It will be the second Reserve store in Vancouver (the first debuted in 2017 in Mount Pleasant on Main St.) and the fourth overall in Canada. The new Starbucks Reserve Bar opens to the public on Tues. Dec. 11.
Promising a "theatre for coffee," the Reserve Bar will offer customers and interactive and multi-sensory experience involving small-lot coffees exclusive to Starbucks. This is where you'll find their Starbucks Reserve Christmas 2018 (woodsy aromas and flavours of sweet mandarin and mulled spices) and can have it Clover-brewed for the holiday season for shopping-time sipping. Other brewing methods available at the shop are Chemex and Siphon, plus the Reserve Bar has Nitro Cold Brew taps.
Speaking of holidays, with the timing just right, the new Starbucks Reserve Bar has a holiday "fresh sheet" of special drinks. Along with their featured Reserve coffees, the new store will also offer a Hazelnut Bianco Latte (handcrafted with Starbucks Reserve espresso with steamed, house-made hazelnut praline-infused milk) and a Cold Brew Float (Cold brew with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream).
After their Dec. 11 launch, the new Starbucks Reserve will be open Mon. to Thurs. from 5:30 am to 10 pm, Fri. from 5:30 am. to 11 pm, Sat. from 7 am to 11 pm, and Sun. from 7 am to 9 pm.
Starbucks Reserve Bar is located at 700 West Pender St. (Pacific Centre) in Vancouver.
