Surrey RCMP are seeking a man they believe could be anywhere in Canada.
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Michael Norberg. The 49-year-old man was convicted in 2019 for "forcible confinement and invitation to sexual touching" according to a press release from the Surrey RCMP.
"He failed to appear in court for sentencing and a warrant was issued for his arrest in 2019," write Surrey RCMP in the release.
A Canada-wide release was issued Monday; Mounties believe Norberg may be living in another province.
Norberg is a Caucasian male, standing 6’2" with a slender build. He has brown hair, blue eyes and prominent arm tattoos.
If seen, Norberg should not be approached police warn. Instead, call 911. If you know his whereabouts, you're asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
