Remember when Aberdeen Centre's OOMOMO used to be a Daiso?
The franchisee's re-brand in 2019 had left a Daiso-sized hole in Metro Vancouver. That is until Daiso finally opened an official store in Downtown Vancouver in 2021.
And now, the discount store giant is officially landing in Richmond's Lansdowne Centre.
Keen-eyed Richmondites have spotted the new storefront across Dollarama, teasing that it is "coming soon." An official opening date has yet to be announced.
While we patiently wait for the store's opening, fans of Daiso can check out the new Metrotown location, which is set to open later this fall.
