I don't have any kids of my own, which means I can't just produce adorable baby Canucks fan posts by bringing my son to a hockey game and filming his reaction to a rare noisy moment at Rogers Arena. That's more Daniel's thing. I prefer Reddit. And free time and disposable income.
The star of Reddit today? This adorable baby, kicking it in a tiny recliner while repping the hometown team:
"Here comes the Dorsett line again for some reason. Good thing I'm team tank."
At the time of this writing, Reclining Canucks baby is winning Reddit, followed closely by this GIF of a kid moonwalking after a trumpet solo, and this picture of a particularly sad, wet dog. People tend to upvote highbrow, meaningful stuff, you see.
But one can understand why Reclining Canucks Baby is today's champion. "So my kid has now realized the full potential of the little recliner we got him," wrote the original poster, and he's not kidding. This kid is reclining at a college level. Look at that laid-back little guy. Hardly a care in the world. That's a kid who's yet to see his hometown team lose a Stanley Cup Final Game 7. Or any games this season. (Unsurprisingly, he's not watching the Canucks on his Wii U Gamepad. One assumes he wouldn't be nearly as relaxed.) Plus he can poop right where he is, and no one will be upset with him. I'm so jealous of this baby.
