Fraser Health has issued a coronavirus (COVID-19) public exposure warning for a church in Surrey, covering several time periods since the end of December 2020.
The notice is for anyone who may have been at The Restored House Chapel (Unit 107-11267 125A St. Surrey) during the following times:
- December 30, 2020 - January 20, 2021: Fridays: 7-9 p.m., Sundays 10 a.m.-noon; Tuesdays 7-9 p.m.
The possible exposure times coincide with the church's Sunday first service, which begins at 10 a.m, its Bible Study, which runs Tuesdays at 7 p.m., and its Friday Prayer Service, which begins at 7 p.m.
According to its website and social media, The Restored House Chapel has been offering services for its congregants online in recent weeks.
Those identified as a COVID-19 case or close contact are contacted directly by Fraser Health, however, the health authority lists public exposures on their website in order to reach any people who may have potentially become infected who they could not contact privately.
"There is no known risk to anyone who attended any listed locations outside of the specified dates and times. If people remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and people can continue with their usual daily activities," explains Fraser Health.
If you develop any symptoms of COVID-19, please seek testing and then self-isolate, urges the health authority.
