The sixth annual Terminal City Tabletop Convention returns to Vancouver with a smorgasbord of gaming fun this month.
Known as “Vancouver’s biggest tabletop board game convention,” the annual affair has an impressive library of more than 350 games to share with guests. They even have “game stewards” on hand to show you the ropes (some of them are complex).
Attendees may even demo their own games in the Proto-Alley, where convention goers will have a chance to try out the design. Proto-Alley participants will have their own table and chairs to demo and promo their games.
The convention will also host a Settlers of Catan qualifying tournament on Saturday March 30. The winner receives an A Game of Thrones Catan Bran Promo Card and a guaranteed seat at the 2019 Catan National Championship at EGLX in Toronto (airfare is not included).
The convention will take place in three rooms with a total of 12,928 square feet of gaming space combined. In addition, there will be food trucks on site for when hunger strikes. On Saturday, guests may enjoy morning coffee by Brewnetti Cafe, lunch by Urban Wood Fired Pizza, and dinner by Chickpea. On Sunday, attendees may look forward to morning coffee by Kafka’s Coffee & Tea and lunch by Bandidas Taqueri.
