Wedding season is about halfway through and if you’re in your 20s or 30s, you’ve probably been to a couple already this summer. Our usual go-to is a pretty frock, but, this year, we’re making a case for the party skirt. Why? You can style skirts a few different ways, so you can actually wear the same one to several parties without causing your gazillions of Instagram followers to die of shock.

Skirts can be dressed up with a pretty camisole and heels or down with a tee, flats and a denim jacket. If the weather’s a bit nippy, you can wear them with a sweater, statement tights and booties. This season, in terms of style, anything goes: maxis, minis and midis, flared and fitted, in bright shades and muted ones, printed and plain. Here are our super six.
