A brand new Arby’s franchise is set to open soon in Metro Vancouver, and it will be the only one open in the region.
Located in South Delta at Tsawwassen Commons, this brand new Arby’s will be open in December, confirms Metro RB Inc., the Arby’s franchisee.
That means the chain’s roast beef sandwiches, curly fries, and Jamocha shakes will be served up in mere weeks.
“This restaurant will feature Arby’s Inspire design. The Inspire design increases energy efficiency and delivers an upgraded guest experience. The design also includes authentic features such as wood tones, white brick, subway tiles, stainless steel finishes, and upgraded lighting and landscaping,” explains Metro RB Inc. in an e-mail to Vancouver Is Awesome.
Construction has been progressing over the last few weeks at the outdoor mall, which is located across the street from the Tsawwassen Mills mega mall. Tenancy at Tsawwassen Commons has been the focus of much speculation, and changes, over the last couple of years, however its food operations tend to bring the mall a lot of attention, and traffic. The Arby’s had initially been aiming to open earlier in 2018.

Arby’s was one of the initial food businesses linked to the mall when it was announced, however the company’s presence in Metro Vancouver has undergone a shift of late, with its last location in the lower mainland shuttering this year.
In 2017, Arby’s announced plans to add several Canadian locations.
Metro Vancouver has had an up and down relationship with the fast food chain Arby’s for a long time now. An ongoing joke for Redditors, a delicious food memory for some, and a total curiosity to others, any mention of Arby’s in the region is sure to raise debate.
Arby’s currently has locations open in B.C. in Cranbrook, Kelowna, and Kamloops.
