The recent snowfall continues to wreak havoc with all forms of travel to, from and through Vancouver.
Citing deteriorating weather conditions and snow forecast for later today, B.C. Ferries has just issued a travel advisory, alerting passengers of sailing cancellations on several routes between Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island today (Feb. 11).

B.C. Ferries is cancelling the following sailings:
Swartz Bay - Tsawwassen:
7 p.m. departing both directions
9 p.m. departing both directions
Tsawwassen - Duke Point:
8:15 p.m. departing both directions
10:45 p.m. departing both directions
Horseshoe Bay - Departure Bay:
8:45 p.m. departing Departure Bay
10:50 p.m. departing Horseshoe Bay
Horseshoe Bay - Langdale:
9:35 p.m. departing Langdale
10:55 p.m. departing Horseshoe Bay
Horseshoe Bay - Snug Cove:
10 p.m. departing Horseshoe Bay
10:30 p.m. departing Snug Cove
Reserved customers will be notified and will have their reservation fees automatically refunded.
Service is expected to resume tomorrow morning.
