Given the fine craftsmanship of each and every chocolate that Thomas Haas creates, it's hard to comprehend that he is as equally talented as a Michelin-trained pastry and wedding cake chef. Our cover photo shows his playful side: every year he comes up with a special Easter sculpture and these frolicking bunnies are sheer entertainment. Haas also has a heart as soft as chocolate: Four Easter centrepiecse, designed by Geoseph Domenichiello, are being raffled to raise money for the North Shore Women's Centre and Union Gospel Mission. Tickets are $5 each; the draw will be at 2 p.m. on Good Friday. (The store is open from 8 to 5:30 on April 6.)
