Missing North Vancouver woman reported found

Update: The RCMP has confirmed that Lynet Bernales has been located, and she is safe and sound.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Lynet Bernales, a North Vancouver woman who hasn’t been seen in almost a week.

She is described as a white female, 18 years old, who stands five-foot-four (163 centimetres) and weighs about 100 pounds (49 kilograms).

She has brown eyes, and shoulder-length dark brown hair, which is often worn tied up.

She was last seen on Wednesday, Feb. 27 wearing burgundy tights, a black hoodie and white Adidas style shoes.

According to police, Bernales has been known to visit the Chinatown area of Vancouver, and may have returned there in the last two to three days.

Anyone with information on Bernales’ whereabouts is urged to contact their local police, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
