Visitors to Stanley Park Thursday may have noticed a larger than usual police presence.
The department's emergency response team took part in a training exercise at HMCS Discovery, the the Royal Canadian Navy Reserve shore facility on Deadman’s Island off Stanley Park.
The training involved simulated injuries, gunfire and smoke.
