Courier staff recently visited Kodiak Press where the newspaper is printed every week alongside 30 other publications.
It takes up to five hours to print the 107,700 copies of the Courier, not including the sweaty, painstaking task of inserting advertising flyers, which is another seven to eight hours.
In all, more than two dozen people have an inky hand in the print production of the Courier newspaper every week.
