Letter: Pat’s Pub and all that jazz

Re: “Our Picks,” April 18.

The tone of incredulity concerning Latin jazz stylist Eliana Cuevas’s appearance at Pat’s Pub “of all places” (sic) is entirely misplaced. Over the past few years, and especially since the demise of Cory Weeds’ Jazz Cellar, Pat’s Pub has become a mecca for jazz and blues in this city and anyone reporting on arts and entertainment for your newspaper ought to be aware of this.
