The opening date for Nordstrom is getting closer with the outside of the building equipped with an interactive mirror with a poster of style ambassador and resident Vancouverite, Jackie Kai Ellis in tow. If you’re yearning for a sneak peek before opening day, you’re in luck! The Nordstrom team has just announced two events that are open to the public for a chance to see the new store and the products they carry.

When: Friday, September 11th, 2015 from 11am-7pm and Saturday, September 12th, 2015 from 10am-3pm
Where: Nordstrom Vancouver (Pacific Centre)
What: Nordstrom BFF (Beauty, Fit, Friends) event
Beauty:Get your beauty fix by learning makeup tips and tricks from the pros. You can also get your makeup done by a makeup artist. Fit: Find your perfect bra fit with help from certified fitters and with each purchase of a bra from a participating brand, $2 will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Appointments are necessary (call 1-866-792-6167). Friends: Bring a friend along because shopping is always more fun with company!

What: Nordstrom opening day beauty bash
Shop while you wait for the new Nordstrom store to open at an outdoor Robson Street beauty celebration. Get the latest scoop on beauty trends and complimentary consultations will be offered. You can also get your makeup done by Nordstrom’s makeup artist and the first 2,500 customers will receive a Nordstrom Beauty Bash tote. Nordstrom will be partnering with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation on this event to raise awareness for the cause. The day will be complete with food trucks, photo booths, a live band and fun prizes.
The grand opening for Nordstrom Vancouver is set for September 18th, 2015.
