Diljit Dosanjh seems to like Vancouver.
The Indian superstar shot Honsla Rakh, one of the biggest Punjabi films of all time in and around Vancouver, in and around the city in 2021. Now he's coming back to the city for "the largest Punjabi show ever outside of India," according to BC Place, which will be hosting Dosanjh.
The massive show will take place at BC Place on Saturday, April 27 as part of the Dil-luminati Tour.
It's not the first time Dosanjh has made inroads in North America; he was the first Punjabi artist to have a set at Coachella. He played at this year's festival.
Tickets for the show will go on sale Dec. 1. BC Place notes that given the capacity of BC Place (54,500) it should be the biggest Punjabi show outside of India. Ed Sheeran broke the record for the biggest show at BC Place earlier this year with more than 65,000 fans.
