The annual Abbotsford Bloom Tulip Festival returns to the Fraser Valley with rows upon rows of beautiful blooms in a variety of spring colours.
The farm offers thousands of brightly-coloured tulips spread over a ten-acre area, and pricing is divided into low bloom and high bloom. Low bloom is better for people who don't mind limited flowers in bloom in the field, but who want to avoid crowds. High bloom is best for photographers looking for full colour fields, and people who generally want to see an ocean of vibrant colours. Of course, these times tend to draw crowds, as well as increased prices, but they are spectacular to behold.
Photographers may also take part in 'magic hour' when the sunrise basks the fields in a golden glow. Entry is typically at 5-6 am, depending on the date.
In addition to a beautiful, rainbow field, Bloom offers convenient food trucks on-site, a covered picnic area, photo cut out boards and a children’s play area. Visitors may also purchase bouquets of fresh cut tulips from the on-site flower market.
Bloom commences on April 15 and tickets go on sale April 9.
