Calling all anime lovers and cosplay fans!
Anime Revolution (Anirevo), Vancouver’s biggest anime convention, is making its return to Vancouver this month for three days of all-things-anime and Japanese pop culture after a two-year hiatus.
Featuring cosplay, games, performances, voice actors, exciting panels, anime merch and more, the event invites attendees to participate in a cultural exchange, engage in the creative experience and meet like-minded people at Vancouver Convention Centre.
Cosplay is one of the most highly anticipated parts of Anirevo. From Demon Slayer to Spy x Family, League of Legends to Genshin Impact, attendees can expect to see thousands of Vancouver cosplayers dressing up as a variety of characters from popular animes and video games at the venue.
There will also be a fun swimsuit cosplay contest that encourages cosplayers to choose a character and be creative about what the character would wear on the beach.
Special guests of this year feature fan-favourite voice talents behind hit anime series, including Demon Slayer, Death Note, One Piece, Sailor Moon, and many more. Lucky fans could get a chance to take a photo with the legendary Toru Furuya — the voice behind Tuxedo Mask, Amuro Ray and Yamcha.
We're welcoming back fan-favourite and legendary voice actor @torushome to Anirevo! Toru Furuya last visited Anirevo in 2013, and we're honoured to have the iconic voice behind Tuxedo Mask, Amuro Ray, Yamcha and many more, back in Vancouver! pic.twitter.com/dWXmVEOUlo

The Exhibition Hall will be packed with vendors and artist booths, offering a massive selection of anime-themed art, apparel and figurines to browse through.
Anime Speedtune, an iconic anisong gameshow since 2013, will also be making its west coast debut at Anirevo.
Other highlights of the event include a Pokemon Go tournament, improv comedy, vocal master challenge, idol showcase and various live performances.
Due to COVID restrictions, Anirevo 2021 and 2020 events were cancelled — but all tickets purchased prior to the cancellations are still valid and automatically transferred to this year’s event.
