Classic rockers AC/DC are doing a limited tour of North America in 2025 and Vancouver is one of the lucky cities.
The Australian band will play BC Place on April 22, 2025. It's their only Canadian date on the Power Up tour, and one of only two on the whole Pacific Coast.
Power Up is AC/DC's first tour in nearly a decade. The last time they took to stadium stages was in 2015-16.
The band is one of the biggest names in classic rock, with massive hits like "Thunderstruck," "Highway to Hell," and "Back in Black."
They're still a behemoth in the record industry; Power Up (the album) debuted at number one on the Billboard album charts when it was released in 2020.
Opening for AC/DC will be The Pretty Reckless, a rock band known for hits like "Heaven Knows" and "Death by Rock and Roll." Fans of Christmas movies may recognize the lead singer, Taylor Momsen, from the Jim Carrey version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. (Vancouver time).
