Canada's best soccer players are returning to Vancouver next month.
The national women's soccer team will play an international friendly match at BC Place on April 4 against Argentina.
It's part of a two-game series with the South American nation; they'll also play April 8 at Starlight Stadium in Langford.
Canada, currently ranked seventh in the FIFA women's world rankings, last played at BC Place on Dec. 5, 2023, when they defeated Australia 1-0 also in a friendly.
That was also the last true home game in a Canadian kit for legend Christine Sinclair, who's now a part-owner of Vancouver Rise FC in the Northern Super League.
The new women's pro soccer team will open its season at BC Place on April 16.
Canada's current national women's roster includes three players that call B.C. home, including Vancouver's Julia Grosso, Jordyn Huitema of Chilliwack and North Vancouver's Emma Regan.
Canada has outscored its opponents 15-2 in its final four international matches, including back-to-back shutouts: 7-0 over Chinese Taipei and 2-0 against Mexico.
The matches against Argentina, ranked 33rd in the world, are part of the April FIFA window.
Tickets for Canada's friendly at BC Place will go on sale on Saturday, March 15. Canada Soccer members qualify for pre-sale windows starting Wednesday, March 12.
