Luxury brand Chanel is known for their eye-catching pop-up beauty events, and for their summery Les Beiges make-up collection, they've landed in Vancouver at Holt Renfrew.
The month-long event is called "Les Beiges a la Plage," and if your high school French recall is good, you'll know that means it's got a beach theme. Chanel has set up a French-inspired beach club zone all along the skywalk at the upscale retailer's Pacific Centre space, complete with cabana chairs and umbrellas.
Chanel has never popped up in Vancouver before, and this is actually the brand's only current North American pop-up; they've got a pretty amazing arcade-themed pop-up right now in Singapore, though.
For shoppers looking to indulge in Chanel's Les Beiges line, it's all about keeping things simple for summer. New products include the Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer, and the streamlining of compatible colours based on nude skin tone into core colour groups. Basically the concept focuses on a natural, glowing look with key accents--perfect for the lighter make up days of summer.
At the pop up, you can get tips from staff, as well as "swim up" to the nail bar for an express polish, and send off postcards from "la plage."
The Chanel "Les Beiges a la Plage" is up and running at Holt Renfrew Vancouver (737 Dunsmuir Street) from now through June 3.
