"The Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue" tribute show stars (from left to right) Vince Kelley as Blanche, Ryan Bernier as Dorothy, Christopher Kamm as Sophia, and Adam Graber as Rose.

Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia have left Miami and are headed to a stage in Vancouver.

"Miami’s sassiest seniors" are coming to the Vancouver Playhouse later this year, with the quartet of sitcom characters finding themselves in all-new (very 2024) adventures in a production called The Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue.

"We find Sophia out on bail after being busted by the DEA for running a drug ring for retirees. Blanche and Rose have founded CreakN, a thriving sex app for seniors. And Dorothy is trying to hold it all together with help from a new (much) younger sex-crazed lover," describes the show's press release.

The travelling show launched a year ago and has toured much of the U.S. The "Girls" (played by men) are now headed to Canadian theatres, with dates in Vancouver from Nov. 12 to 16. Tickets go on sale Aug. 23. Please note, you must be 18+ to purchase tickets and to attend the show.

The show was written by Robert Leleux and stars Vince Kelley as Blanche, Ryan Bernier as Dorothy, Christopher Kamm as Sophia, and Adam Graber as Rose.
