Twice a year, Andrea Tong-Tucker and Robert Tucker of Lotus Events put on a hoppin' craft fair called Got Craft? It's a question with an obvious answer. The answer is: "I'm comin' to get some this weekend!"
Picture the Royal Canadian Legion hall on The Drive packed full of local crafters peddling their handmade wares. From plush yetis to witty birthday cards, silk-screened shirts to apple cozies, you can stock up on summer birthday presents and get a head start on holiday shopping.
Lines are often out the door (guaranteed so in the morning, as people queue up at the crack of dawn to get one of 30 coveted swag bags), so bring some friends and a cuppa and make a day of it.
