Vancouverites may find themselves strolling into film sets in numerous locations across the city.
Production company GEP Resident Inc. transformed a portion of downtown Vancouver into New York City on Wednesday (Sept. 29) for Resident Alien — a popular science fiction TV show.
Locals shared snaps of the big apple shoot complete with an Italian pizzeria, bustling crowds, NYC cabs, and more.

Filming continues in "Hollywood North"
A few other major productions have continued filming this week. On Friday, The Flash crew prepared for filming in Downtown Vancouver just down the street from The Network Hub's co-working space.
Now in its eighth season, the popular CW TV show is about a superhero who assumes his awesome powers after being struck by lightning.
The company quipped that you can't "go more than [two] blocks without encountering a film set today."
