Hey, legendary children's entertainer, Charlotte Diamond! High five, Charlotte Diamond!
I captured this High Five right after Charlotte played a free show at City Square Mall at 12th and Cambie this past weekend in support of BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Over her hour-long set with a full band played to a couple hundred kids and parents she covered all the hits: I Am A Pizza, Four Hugs a Day, Octopus and more. Plus she was gracious to stick around afterwards to make sure everybody got the photos and autographs they hoped for; parents and kids seemed to be equally psyched as many of us grew up on Charlotte's music.
