Concerts are in full swing this year, and Vancouverites aren't holding back when it comes to seeing their favourite artists.
According to a study by Casino.org, local fans are willing to splurge and even travel to see a show.
The city has also had a number of memorable concert moments, from a fan being kicked out of the SZA concert for doing the worm to Kali Uchis openly favouring Vancouver over Toronto to a fan kissing Alicia Keys while she was performing.
There was also that time locals lost their minds over Shania Twain's tour announcement, and when fans were stunned by a surprise Nickelback appearance at Lewis Capaldi's Vancouver show.
Despite frustrations over LiveNation's heavily discounted sale and frenzy over ticket prices for artists such as Coldplay and Beyonce, Vancouverites are still willing to spend an average of $308.72 on tickets.
And while 67 per cent of folks won't splurge on better seats, those who do end up paying around $120.13 more.
When it comes to attending their dream concert, just over 62 per cent are willing to drive up to 862.2 km and around 58 per cent will spend money on overnight accommodation, according to the study's results.
