A fiery stunt set several cars on fire in a big explosion while filming for "The Flash" in Vancouver, B.C.

A fiery explosion on set took some Vancouver locals by surprise.

The momentary - and controlled - blaze happened near Science World Thursday (Feb. 23) evening.

A video posted on TikTok shows several cars lined up facing False Creek. Within moments, each car is set on fire, causing a big, blazing explosion to light up the night sky.

The stunt is speculated to be part of an evening shoot for The Flash which is known to film around Vancouver.

The popular TV show recently turned the town into a big superhero city and held a giant aerial stunt rehearsal at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Vancouver's buzzing film industry sees a number of crazy, dramatic stunts, such as another fiery explosion that had a building set on fire for the superhero show Superman & Lois and a monster battleground for Godzilla and the Titans
