A Hollywood heavyweight was spotted in full superhero attire outside of a Metro Vancouver salon recently.
Popular American actor John Cena was photographed in full costume outside of Michaud's Salon Spa Wellness Centre in Surrey on July 7.
Cena is currently filming a Suicide Squad spin-off show called Peacemaker in the city. The eight-episode series will air on HBO in 2022 and "will explore the origins of the character that Cena will play in the upcoming film, a man who believes in peace at any cost — no matter how many people he has to kill to get it."
The actor and professional wrestler is married to Canadian engineer Shay Shariatzadeh; she studied at the University of British Columbia.
A fan took to social media to share images of the actor strolling past the salon in his costume. He mentioned that "This is what happens when you head to your local salon...and [John Cena] walks by and after pushing the camera button ten times you manage only two shots!"
Peacemaker director James Gunn also shared a snap of his "favourite cast member" — a small dog named Penny.

A couple of months ago, Gunn took to social media to share a picture of the actor walking down the street in full costume. He captioned: "What’s weird is that this is on John’s day off."
In response, Cena reshared Gunn's tweet and asked, "Why is that weird?"
The Peacemaker star added that he was "just breaking in the uniform" and quipped that it is "quite difficult to shower in...but I manage."
Fans also shared photos of Cena celebrating his birthday on a Vancouver film set in April.
