A popular actor filmed scenes for a TV show in a Vancouver hotel

The show is filming its second season.

A popular TV show was filming scenes for its second season in Downtown Vancouver this week.

American actor, producer, and director Justin Hartley has been filming scenes for season two of Tracker in Vancouver in January and will continue through the spring.

Hartley stars as Colten Shaw, a lone wolf travelling across America in an RV and helping police and strangers solve crimes "until his latest case changes everything," according to Imdb.com.

TNG Television Productions Inc. filmed scenes outside and inside the Wedgewood Hotel at 845 Hornby St on Thursday, Jan. 9.

The film crew arrived on Wednesday to prepare the scene for filming. The first scene involved an actor running across Hornby Street into the hotel from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday. The other scenes were filmed inside the hotel from 2 p.m. Thursday until 2 a.m. Friday.

A reduced crew returned on Friday to clean up the site.
