After more than 30 years, nu metal pioneers Korn are still going.
And they're returning to Vancouver.
Last year Korn toured across the U.S. (with a stop in Toronto) to celebrate their 30th anniversary; this year they're touring Canada (while also playing some festivals). The band wraps up its Canadian leg with a show at Vancouver's Rogers Arena on Oct. 1, 2025.
The Californian metal act has topped rock and metal charts for years. Notably, they had a series of hits in the late 90s and early 2000s including "Freak on a Leash," and "Falling Away from Me." Both songs landed in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
While Korn hasn't had as much commercial success of late, the group has remained active. In the last few years, they released a studio album and a live album.
Opening for Korn will be the bands Gojira and Loathe.
Gojira, from France, has been around for nearly three decades. While they built up a large fanbase over the years, the band found a broader audience when they were included in the Paris Olympics opening ceremonies.
Loathe, from the UK, formed in London in 2014; the band cites Korn as a major influence.
